My 92 mpv turned over 300,000 miles this week! We are the original owners, and the only major repairs we have had to do is replace the radiator and the timing belt. She's a "good 'un"  |

| i have a 1997 all sport 4x4 3.0 V6, currently not too happy with it though... bunch of oil leaks, nasty knock in the engine (not driving it right now) still working on finding the problem, metal shavings in the oil... but before that happend it was reliable, fun to drive when the ground was wet, though it needs a limited slip diff...upgrade ideas??? and actually got decent mpg |

| I've got a 96. With a dent in the rear bumper. Strange thing was.... as I was driving a few weeks ago, I saw another MPV that looked exactly like mine- color and all!... AND with the same dent in the same spot. Scary! LOL |

My introduction to the MPV was when I bought my first one in 94. The wife talked me into it saying it does not look like a minivan and was cautious of those sliding doors one day smashing one of our kids fingers. But never looked back or regretted it because 2 years later Mazda came out with the four door restyled look and I was hooked instantly. Traded the ol'94 in and bought the 96 and still have to this day. It never had a major breakdown and the service it provided to my family is impeccable. But now it is a sad day because kids are grown, everyone has own vehicle, and the poor MPV is taking up space and insurance costs. If anyone living in or around Los Angeles county is wanting to buy this type of vehicle, a hard working piece of machinery, please write up and be counted. Will provide details, pics, and history to all of those interested.  |
