|GM does such a wonderful job of badge engineering with their US domestic products, you wonder why they can't figure out how to duplicate their European/Asian/South Pacific tooling and market this vehicle here. They have been virtually absent until the Saturn Vue from the small utility vehicle/ small wagon/ small van market to date.
When they do bring something over from overseas, they handicap it so it is certain to fail... See Omega rebadged as Cadillac (should have been lower priced vehicle)
I should know better. I spent about 10 years working with their vehicle engineering people. They had blinders on to the rest of the world and don't particularly like something not invented in Detroit.
