GM does such a wonderful job of badge engineering with their US domestic products, you wonder why they can't figure out how to duplicate their European/Asian/South Pacific tooling and market this vehicle here. stupid They have been virtually absent until the Saturn Vue from the small utility vehicle/ small wagon/ small van market to date.

When they do bring something over from overseas, they handicap it so it is certain to fail... See Omega rebadged as Cadillac (should have been lower priced vehicle)

I should know better. I spent about 10 years working with their vehicle engineering people. They had blinders on to the rest of the world and don't particularly like something not invented in Detroit.

2003 LX Coastal Blue - Rear Air - 195,000 Miles. Sold 9/27/2013.

1990 Lumina Rust Bucket - 125K miles and rusted out Scrapped 8/05

2008 Scion xB Silver - Just automatic transmission - 60K Miles goaliegirl's ride

2011 Scion xB Crimson - Automatic transmission and Alpine Audio - 25K Miles My ride

2007 Passat Wagon from the in-laws - DW's ride.

Been there, done that.
Went somewhere else, did it again.
