Looks like a complete redesign:
Box-like rear quarter looks like a Flex from the side!
Front-end looks like a Suzuki to me
Rear from this veiw not so bad
 Rich. Dark. Deeply satisfying.
My rides:

'97 Mercury Grand Marquis SOLD
'08 Mazda CX-7 Touring - my first turbo! - SOLD 04/2016

THere weren't any looks at the interior aside from the dash - I'll be curious to see the layout / flexibility / etc. Rich. Dark. Deeply satisfying.

Came close to buying the Quest back in 2004. That would have been a big mistake as those models had all kinds of problems. Hope the New Quest is better. Don't care much for the boxy looking exterior. 2004 MPV LX (Plus Pkg, Traction and Airbag Pkg, All Sport Pkg, Roof Rack, 108k miles) Cosmic Sand
1999 Buick Regal LS (Leather Pkg, auto climate control, alloys, 124,000 miles) Desert Sand |

I like the look - far more than the original prototypes I saw. Rumours include flip into the floor seating (3rd row a la MPV rear) and possibly 2nd row stow and go.
Only problem I've heard about this van is the only transmission is the CVT. I hope not, as reliability is a huge issue with the CVT. Nissan may have one of the best CVTs on the market, but according to my friends in the tranny business - RUN from any CVT! Unless you can afford to lease and dump the van at the end of the lease.
With any luck, they'll pull the AWD (another rumour) from the G and M Infiniti and drop that drivetrain with an automatic. Then I might consider one. The Zoom-Zoom family:
02 ES GFX, Shimmering Sand Metallic (looks Gold to me), Carbon Dash, bug deflector, custom lumbar support in the leather drivers seat
DW's 02 Protegé 5 Banana-mobile (bright yellow) |

The new Quest is the JDM Elgrand, but widened for North-America. Only one drivetrain : the 253 hp V-6 with CVT and fwd.
The seatbacks just fold forward (and they are not removeable). It makes a flat-ish load platform, but not nearly as big as the competition. There is a shallow well in the back, but no seat flips in there. Prices are out and follow the new Ody's.
I find it stylish, but with the smaller interior and less cargo flexibility, don't think it's for me. I'm still saving for that Honda Odyssey SiR with the MDX engine and a six-speed manual (one can dream, can he ?). 2012 Honda Odyssey EX, Crystal Black Pearl, Truffle interior, oem acc: mudflaps, side mouldings, cargo net, cargo tray, steel wheels+tpms+LX covers for snow duty with Blizzaks WS70
2017 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, black on black
Dearly departed : 2015 VW Golf TDI, 2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S, 2003 Odyssey EX, 2004 Mazda MPV GS+GFX, 1999 CR-V, 2001.5 Passat, 1995 Civic, 1994 Tercel, 1986 Celica, 1986 Alliance, 1982 GLC, 1978 LeSabre, 1980 Corolla SR-5. |
