I am currently trying to do the ATF Flush procedure that Bubba wrote up and it is not working for me. The dipstick shows the fluid level right around the cold high and warm low notches. I have the line to the transmission cooler disconnected as shown in the instruction and when I start the engine, nothing comes out.

Does this mean that there is no fluid to flush out or is there maybe a clog somewhere?

Thanks for the reply. I found the problem. The cooler is completely bypassed and the line is just routed back to the transmission.

Is this your setup?

Mine doesnt have what I suppose to be the tranny cooler? As you can see on the pic, the hose is just bended back to the tranny.

No, mine has a different step than either of those pictures. The inlet and outlet are on opposite ends of the cooler, but there is a metal tube bringing them to those same locations, if that makes any sense.

As far as I can tell, the power steering cooler is the long, curved-back-on-itself metal line situated ABOVE where the large transmission cooler is (or would be, if not installed).

ijr, if possible I would like to see a photo of your particular setup.

IIRC, the large transmission cooler was not a standard item, so most MPVs probably don't have one.
