Hello,

P0302 refers to a misfire in cylinder #2 which is the middle cylinder in the back row (firewall side). There are a few possible causes: spark plug, coil, intake manifold / vacuum leak. There has been much written here about coil issues. Swapping a plug or coil is the simplest remedy but still involves removing the intake manifold on your '04.

Good luck,

Steve
