There's a Mazda Carol but I don't recall a Nissan with that name. Then: '79 Plymouth Horizon, '88 VW Fox Wagon, '92 VW Jetta GL (DW), '96 VW Golf GL (DW), '97 Jetta GLX - Green, '03 MPV ES - Blue Mica (DW)
Now: '15 Hyundai Elantra GT - Titanium Gray Metallic (DW), '10 Honda Civic Si - Polished Metal Metallic |

That's the toy car I saw ... sorry for Nissaning the Mazda, but this wasn't a case of "IIRC"
It was dark blue with withe striping. The early JDM's in my area used to be Skylines (of course), but more cars are popping up, even less exiting ones like the Carol.
There is at least one Nissan Figaro in Montreal, and that's a cutie ! 2012 Honda Odyssey EX, Crystal Black Pearl, Truffle interior, oem acc: mudflaps, side mouldings, cargo net, cargo tray, steel wheels+tpms+LX covers for snow duty with Blizzaks WS70
2017 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, black on black
Dearly departed : 2015 VW Golf TDI, 2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S, 2003 Odyssey EX, 2004 Mazda MPV GS+GFX, 1999 CR-V, 2001.5 Passat, 1995 Civic, 1994 Tercel, 1986 Celica, 1986 Alliance, 1982 GLC, 1978 LeSabre, 1980 Corolla SR-5. |

I personally wish there were far more of these types of cars plying the roads of N. 'Merica... and far fewer H2, H3, Denali, G-Wagons, etc. But, that's just me. |

You may see us gravitate more towardsd the kei class cars down the road. Nissan's coming out with the Cube and Ford's promising to bring the Fiesta to the States. Can't rule out that Mazda will finally bring the 2. Then: '79 Plymouth Horizon, '88 VW Fox Wagon, '92 VW Jetta GL (DW), '96 VW Golf GL (DW), '97 Jetta GLX - Green, '03 MPV ES - Blue Mica (DW)
Now: '15 Hyundai Elantra GT - Titanium Gray Metallic (DW), '10 Honda Civic Si - Polished Metal Metallic |

NY Auto Show this year was a bit more subdued - not as many flash and concepts but a lot of fun was to be had still.
One car was on display was the Koenigsegg CCX. Seems like an outfit on Long Island is a seller and was displaying their ware. The numbers on one of the handout was pretty impressive:
acceleration: 0-100km/H 3.2 sec
top speed: 395 km/H +
standing 1/4 mile: 9.9 sec at 235 km/H
braking distance: 31m 100-0 km/H
lateral g-force: 1.3G
combined fuel consumption: 17L/100km Then: '79 Plymouth Horizon, '88 VW Fox Wagon, '92 VW Jetta GL (DW), '96 VW Golf GL (DW), '97 Jetta GLX - Green, '03 MPV ES - Blue Mica (DW)
Now: '15 Hyundai Elantra GT - Titanium Gray Metallic (DW), '10 Honda Civic Si - Polished Metal Metallic |

Yup, no price listed. Anyone want to take a gander as to how much these things go for? btw, the handout had the CCX listed but I'm trying to remember if it was this or the CCXR on display. Then: '79 Plymouth Horizon, '88 VW Fox Wagon, '92 VW Jetta GL (DW), '96 VW Golf GL (DW), '97 Jetta GLX - Green, '03 MPV ES - Blue Mica (DW)

This was just re-shown in a "best of" show on BBC America - what a car... Rich. Dark. Deeply satisfying.
My rides:
'01 MPV LX
'97 Mercury Grand Marquis SOLD
'08 Mazda CX-7 Touring - my first turbo! - SOLD 04/2016
