Well, there is an already existing thread out there for this, though it's been idle for a long while: http://forum.mpvclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=1865

I will close that old thread and post a link to this current thread, as well as moving this to the Polls forum (a shadow link will still appear in '00-'06).

gas mileage? awful... and i don't care! i'm just havin' too much fun drivin'!! burnout admittedly, i really have to do a calculation to find out how good or bad my mileage actually is.

i have to chill out to save my rubber too. got my Yokohama Avid TRZ's a little over a month ago and already i'm seeing a little more treadwear than i should... Embarassed shuffle

I can see by what you carry
that you come from Barrytown!

Year: 2000
Model: DX
Fuel Type: 91 (Australian rating 95)
Gas Mileage School Run: 17mpg
Gas Mileage City: 20mpg
Gas Mileage Hwy: 21.6mpg (First big trip for the MPV,air conditioner on total km traveled were 526km and fuel used was 57.26l. Mixture of 60% highway and 20% hilly section and 20% around town type driving.)

Engine Mods: Custom CAI, Custom Headers

Our vehicle has a trip meter and have found it very accurate as far as the averages compared to the actual. For the 150km section of the trip that was very easy highway driving 110 km/h recorded 9.5 L/100 km which I was pretty happy with considering the air conditioner was running and we had a full load on board. Two adults, 15yo, 13yo, 8yo and 6yo plus luggage.

On the highway there really needs to be another gear imho for the 2.5l to really achieve better fuel consumption.

Custom Cold Air Intake, K&N Panel Filter
Custom Equal Length Headers and Y pipe
