Has anyone added a 12v cig. outlet in the second row area. under the passenger seat and drivers seat for portable dvd players, cd players or video game? All comments and suggestions welcom

I did this in my MkI MPV when I had it. It's really very simple. You basically tap into the fuse block and run the positive and negative leads back. You could easily tie into the dash's cig lighter circuit for this, just don't overtask the circuit.

I'd figure you could get something like this accomplished in under an hour unless you wanted to put the outlet into a side wall of the van, which would be snazzy looking, imho.

There's no centre console or anything under the seats to mount it to, but you could buy the kind that are meant to hang loose because there's a housing around it, and just have it sitting on the floor under the front seat, and as for a side wall, that's taken up mostly by the door, unless you don't mind mounting it in the 3rd row region.
