My passenger side mirror popped out of it's socket when folding it back to normal position from the folded position. How do I place the mirror body back into it's socket? Do I have to remove the entire mirror assembly from the door? Get a new one? Anyone know how to fix without needing to get a replacement?

You might have to remove the base in order to shaping back in. You have to remove the inside door panel in order to remove the base of the mirror.

Have you done the procedure you describe before which is after removing mirror base from the door, inserting the mirror housing back into it's swivel socket? It's spring loaded and needs to be compressed some how and then inserted into it's socket and spring decompressed, right?
