So after reading about Super grounding kits and voltage stabilizers I have gone out and purchased one.

I was not expecting the super claim for instant horsepower, however it did do the following:

Cleared the line nose from the stereo bass and highs are very crisp.

Throttle response is alot smoother

draw drop is not as dramitc i.e putting down all the windows at once.

as for the brighter lights I have HID and LED so no noticeable change or unaffected

this write up helped in my decision http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp_1010_voltage_stabilizers_can_increase_power_and_torque_fact_fiction/viewall.html

i ended up buying the SUN Auto hot inazumal

I bought a VersaCruise (Apexi) model a couple of years back. Throttle response was also better, at least in my mind.

One thing that my unit did but that the Sun Auto may not do is that the blue LED light on mine which looks cool, ended up killing my car battery a couple of times. I carpool so the van sat there for days at a time without being driven very far. YMMV.

interesting - i grounded my mazda5 throttle body and felt the difference. i wonder if a voltage stabilizer would help more. does the unit stay under the hood? is it plug and play or do you need any tweaking
