I have 3 trouble codes on my van. (2) P0031 H02S Heater Control Unit Low. (1) P0134 O2 sensor Circuit no Activity.

Any ideas on what I need to replace to get this annoying check engine light out.

Strange that you have 2 P0031 codes.

Regardless, I agree that is seems like an oxygen sensor issue.
Be it the wiring/connections or the units themselves.

What happens after you clear the codes?
Which code returns first?

Good that you asked checked it again and it is only one P0031 code. If i clear it after i start the engine it never comes on but when i turn off the van and start it it comes back. Is there a fuse? I recently replaced my battery and before i never had this code maybe its just a coincidence. Thanks

The battery replacement is interesting given that the problem didn't start until right after the battery change. I agree, that's very coincidental.

The first thing I would do is remove and clean all the battery connections.
I would also remove and clean the connections at the other end of the battery cables. For instance at the starter and the ground.

Your signature references Guam. Do you still live in that salty climate?
I'm thinking corrosion.

Does anybody know if there is a relay or fuse for the pre-cat oxygen sensor heater?
