Two horns both shot. I noticed the auto stores have replacement horns. all have two connections but the PV just has one connecter for each horn. Any suggestions as to how I can adapt the over the counter horn? I would like to avoid the the OE...too much money! I would like to use the wiring that is there. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

If your original horns have only one terminal, that would mean that inside there is an internal ground path through the mounting hardware. That works fine because the mounting bolts go through steel metal on the MPV. But , in the case of the aftermarket horns, that steel mounting surface may not be used ... in fact, one may wish to mount the horns on a plastic surface (think: boats) .... in this case, a second terminal is provided that must be grounded.

Not sure how handy or confident you are, but why not remove your horns, take them apart, clean everything you can, reassemble and try it again.
I've done that to numerous horns over the years to get them functioning again. Sometimes a tweek to the adjustment screw is needed.

Full disclosure - I've never had to do it to a MPV horn.

I'm assuming you've already checked the fuse and that you have 12V at the horn when the button is depressed.

When horsing around with my trans oil lines, noticed a horn on the drivers side, just behind the bumper. The low tone horn is shot, so it's sounds whiney. Had bought new horns, but didn't want to take the bumper off, so this is promising. I might broach it this weekend; if I do, I'll post pics (motivation willing).
