The new Ody is out. Remove the dubs, add real headlights and some trim, and this should be at dealerships next Fall.

nice. We'll probably be on the market for an MPV replacementvan in a year or two. Probably not a brand new vehichle. I'm thinking Mazda 5, DW is thinking Vovlo XC90.

Its a Venza all grown up! At least you gotta give them credit for sticking with the sliding rear doors and everything "minivan". While I think they are excellent vehicles, the MPV may be our first and last minivan. When its time for it to go, dw'll most likely go for something smaller.

Yawn.

I do like the look better than the current Oddy which has always looked big and ungainly to me.

Still have a tough time getting excited about a minivan.

Went to the NC Auto show this weekend - the only minivans in attendance were the Chrysler offerings (blah) and the new Sienna.

The Sienna was predictably nice...and big. (I am so spoiled by the "just right" size of the MPV) I've mentioned in other threads that unless the DW moves the timeline up we'll be looking to replace the MPV in a year or two. Neither of us are keen on getting a bigger van, but all of the 3-row CUVs and the Mazda5 have third rows that are really only good for emergency duty. I climbed into the back of most of the three-row vehichles on display. The best non-minivan / non-full-size SUV third row was probably in the Ford Flex. There were too many crossovers to mention that were tied for last (Tribeca, XC90, Highlander, the Chevy, etc). And when those third rows are in use storage space disappears like a fart in the wind.

We're likely going to have to concede either a "real" third row (and have a roof cargo box at the ready) or overall vehichle size and go with Sienna or Ody.

Rich. Dark. Deeply satisfying.

Did they have the screen on? The Toyo salesman claimed that it did not play in widescreen, rather it allowed split-screen for watching/playing 2 things at once. Seems like that would be maddening to watch something that way.

Saw it at the Chicago show on Thursday. It is big, no doubt.

These guys are taking the phrase "as big as a living room" literally. Just saw the ad for the new Sienna where they're touting the rear entertainment screen has split capability. Ratio looks a little wider than 16:9.
