Alright tried the wedge...nada. Went and bought some 5/8" coarse thread allthread. I'm and idiot...brought the special CV adapter tool nut w/ me to make sure it was the same size. Nut was fine ...

My apologies for being so frustrated everyone...i have used a 70" pry bar while having someone else hold a standard pry bar between the other side (opposite sides of the shaft not the car lol..) ...
